Your favorite comicsblog's been back at it for just about a week now, after the horrible AP Pro virus problems we suffered around December 1st. We kept busy during our down-time, though -- if you're one of our many dabblers now playing the WINTER ONE-DERLAND Christmas Giveaway, then you're already enjoying one of the best things the Springfield Home Office pulled together during our hiatus from the blogosphere.
Raley, abbracadabbling's trusty neighbor and the Dabbler's unofficial sidekick, spearheaded what's become an invaluable contribution to our efforts on the comicsblog: the Present Magic Comics Shop on eBay.
The Shop's been open for business now two weeks, and we're happy to report only 40% of our initial inventory remains unsold. We stocked our eBay Shop with great deals on collectible comic books and complete runs on comic titles from nearly every major publisher, as well as a few choice action figure offerings, too. And we definitely got noticed.
Before everything's all gone, we didn't want to miss the chance to share what's available with our loyal dabblers. Every penny the Shop earns helps us make the comicsblog a better place, and aside from donating your hard-earned cash to your favorite charity or buying new, unwrapped toys for less-fortunate children in your area -- something we've done in Springfield, where the need truly is exceptional -- what better cause is there?
