It's no secret that NBC's The Jay Leno Show has such low ratings that even the CW is laughing at him. Well, the former Tonight Show host is taking his best stab to secure his feeble place in Prime Time. Taylor Lautner, the 19-year old shirtless hunk starring in the much-anticipated by everyone but us movie, Twilight: New Moon, joins Jay in the studio tonight, and we're certain there'll be plenty of yucks over Lautner's Hollywood body boy image.
Maybe that doesn't make tuning in to NBC tonight at 10:00pm worth our time or yours, but there's a part of us that's curious if Jay's latest stunt will keep him from losing his shirt. After all, Lautner's earned his recent celeb status by losing his, and perhaps it's time to pay that forward.
Will Leno's ratings get a boost akin to Lautner's testosterone levels? Or maybe New Moon fanatics will be too busy online to watch, as the film's official site is streaming live coverage of the movie's Hollywood premiere at this very moment. [Link].
We're not sure we care. But as Springfield-area theaters have already sold out of New Moon tickets for the Thursday night and Friday shows, it's obvious that plenty of 'Tweens and their parents must.
